Common questions about identity verification
Which documents are accepted? +
Spanish DNI and NIE cards and passports, captured on both sides where applicable. Automatic reading extracts the data and validates the document's internal consistency, including the check digits of the machine-readable zone (MRZ).
What does my company receive at the end? +
The verification result and its report: data extracted from the document, captures, the outcome of the biometric match and the liveness check, and the exact moment of each step. Via API you also receive the result by webhook to continue your process automatically.
Does my customer need to install an app? +
No: the whole process happens in the phone's browser, guided step by step. Less friction means more completed verifications, especially with less tech-savvy customers.
Can I require verification before a signature? +
Yes. In online contracting you can enable identity verification as a prior requirement: the signer first proves who they are and then signs, and both pieces of evidence are linked in the process.
